Brief Introduction

Dr. Carey has over 15 years of experience with multinational companies, and U.S. state, federal and local government organizations, as well as universities in both the U.S. and Asia. For the past six years, he has been a professional consultant at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he has lectured and mentored graduate students in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, as well as managed the internship programme for the department. At the same time, he has remained active as a consultant, delivering services around Asia Pacific and in Europe.

Previously, he was an associate consultant, consultant and Director of Consulting Services for Personnel Decisions International Greater China, a global consulting firm based in the United States. For the four years he was at PDI, he delivered consulting services, including assessment centers, training and coaching around Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. Dr. Carey has been in Asia for the past ten years, and is a permanent resident in Hong Kong. He graduated with a Master and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida in the U.S.
